Christmas Tree Hunting

We went to cut down a Christmas tree today in the Jemez mountains with the Gondas. This is our 5th year going, and it is my favorite Christmas tradition ever!

Makenna and Mckayla

Searching for the tree of our dreams

We found it! Here we are in front of our tree

The cute Gonda family with their awesome tree!

Sledding in and eating the snow

This was not posed (ok maybe it was!) The second we got home she was back in her dress-ups

The finished product!

So cool! I love it, I wish we could do that! Instead Home Depot did it for us...

It looks like you guys found a beautiful tree!! It just seems wrong to have a fake tree when you can have a good old pinon or fur from the Jemez mountains. This is also my most cherished tradition of christmas.
