Legoland/Sealife aquarium

We went to Legoland while we were in Carlsbad and we had a blast!! Makenna LOVES rides and rode on as many as she could. It helped that she is exactly 40 inches which is the cut off for a lot of rides. She had the biggest smile all day!

So glad they had a lego Santa since we didn't get a Santa picture this year!

This was the cutest ride she went on all day- as you can see it was very entertaining watching her bump into other kids... and walls...

After Legoland, we went next door to Sealife aquarium that just opened up. It was SOOO awesome- we loved it! There were so many things for the kids to play with and touch and see. If I lived there I would go all the time!

Christmas in Cali

On Christmas Eve we started out making gingerbread houses- so fun!

We then acted out the nativity. I was so happy that all my family was willing to participate- it made it so much fun for Makenna!

So excited to come down the stairs Christmas morning!

I loved watching her face as she opened each present.

All dressed up in her new dress-ups. Of course she had to put them on right away!

I love Christmas time! I'm so sad it's already over. I love the joy that we feel at this time of year- thoughts of the savior, being with family and friends, and pure happiness on our children's faces. Christmas is SOOOOO much better when you're a mom!

FRIENDS!!

Some of my friends from high school decided to get together right before Christmas. It was so much fun and I miss them all so much!!

Kristie Lee Squared- that's what we called ourselves in high school because my dad called me Kristie Lee Lee Lee when I was little, and their middle names are both Lee, so we were Kristie Lee squared... interesting huh?!!! We decided now we could be Lee cubed.
