I took Jace and Makenna to the Dr. today, both for check-ups. Are you ready for this? Jace weighed in at a whopping 15 lbs. 3 oz and is 24 inches long! She said his height is 95% and weight is a little off the chart! hahaha. I thought he has been feeling a little heavy lately. :) She said she isn't concerned at all because they are proportional... I'm a little worried though with how much longer I will be able to carry the boy! Makenna is 31 lbs and 37 inches which are both 50-75% so she is growing great! They both had to get shots which I absolutely dreaded, but they did really well. Makenna was very brave, I was so proud of her. She kept saying, "when are they going to poke me?!" in a very excited sounding voice... little did she know... But then she only cried for a minute and was happy that the shots were making her more healthy. :) She also decided today that she is going to be a doctor when she gets bigger. She actually said that to the Dr. haha

Makenna is so cute. That is awesome she decided she wanted to be a doctor. Well just think you are building some serious muscle from lifting that boy!!
Wowsers....what a big boy he is. Well, he is definitely thriving!! Maybe he is going to be a football player when he grows up. I'm glad they both did well with their shots.
ah, Wow, you cream maker. What size clothes is Jace wearing? Hope your night is going o.k. after the shots.
Wow, Jace is only 2 pounds shy of Stella. Crazy! at least you know he's healthy!
Way to go Jace! What a strong healthy boy. My 5 month old just weighed in at 15 lbs....and I thought he was BIG. Your arms must get so tired.
That's so precious. It must be so fun having a child old enough to talk to you! :) And wow Jace IS BIG! Good thing he's a male. I'm sure Scott is already having dreams of Jace's future as a star athlete! :) We'll definitely have to get together when you come in July! I'd love to see you.
Your kids are so darling! I worry about the day I'll have to take our baby in to get shots :( Looks like you guys are doing well... good to hear from you!
