Jace's spiderman partayyy

Jace loooves Spiderman, so naturally he chose a Spiderman party! I was so excited to give him a party since he still has not had one!

When the boys showed up they were given a cape to wear and spiderman picture to color...

Cami was trying to get into the presents...

The first game was shooting webs (silly string) at the green goblin

Then each boy took a turn doing their best super hero trick on the trampoline! It was so fuuuun!

Then we played spiderman spiderman goblin (super original I know!)

Followed by "red rover" (not sure that we came up with a clever name for this one!)

then it was cake time! We had that cake professionally done... PSYCH! whatever I don't care... I try...

I have yet to get a great picture of the group at a birthday party!

It was super fun, and if you counted there were 11 boys! I'm crazy! They were actually sooo sweet and well-behaved though! I'm so glad Jace has such good little friends.

Makenna just decided one day that she was done with the training wheels. We took them off and her friend Cecilia rode her bike over about the same time. She taught Makenna what to do and she took right off! 10 minutes after learning, she rode her bike over to Cecilia's house down the street! Silly girl.

Well then after weeks of having a wiggly tooth and it practically falling out of her mouth, she pulled her second tooth out. The tooth fairy came that night, but Cami was awake, and the tooth fairy doesn't leave money unless everyone is asleep... (I was out till late with the Young Women in my ward and totally forgot! DOH!!) So... when the tooth fairy has to come back she leaves something extra special. Makenna was really excited about that!

The tooth fairy left her a fancy barbie toothbrush and the usual dollar! She was excited!! (phew!)

Sheffield family pictures

I had a little party at my house for all my high school friends that were in town. It was so fun and we all felt like we were in high school again! I can't believe it's been 10 years... CRAZY!!! It was SOOO nice to see them!

SD ZOO!

We took a trip to the World famous San Diego Zoo! It was kind of strange being somewhere I hadn't been since I was a kid because I kept having strange flashbacks! Scott had to put up with a smorgasbord of lame memories from my childhood! We walked most of the zoo on foot, and then realized why they provide a free tour bus ride... it's steep man! We were pretty tired by the end of the day and saw a lot of stinkin animals! We came to the conclusion that although it is MUCH prettier and well-kept, our zoo isn't so bad after all and doesn't make you nearly as tired!!! It was definitely worth it though.

Beach in December

We went to the beach as much as we could while we were in California. It was dreamy weather. Warm enough that the kids were dying to go in the water and went in with their clothes on! I had to get some new swim suits for them. (in December!!) LOVE it!!

Cami's first time at the beach... I think she liked it!
