 We're so glad Makenna was in Makenna's class this year!  She loved having a good friend in there with her, and they had a blast!  (how funny is this picture?!)

Dance Recital 2011

Makenna had her recital last night!  It was SOOO cute.  They danced to Dolly Parton's "9 to 5."  Makenna was so cute up there.  She really does great in front of all those people!  There were over 3,000 people in the audience- crazy!  She loved it!

Diary: 21 weeks

I'm doing pretty good.  Can you believe that I am still sick though?  Sometimes it gets a little better, and then I have days like today where all I could do is lay down to keep from throwing up!  Oh well, at least it is getting better.  I specifically remember that 22 weeks is when I got better with Jace... so hopefully one more week??   

We had our big ultrasound last week.  I don't really know why, but I have been so nervous about the health of this baby.  I was beyond relieved to learn that the baby appears to be healthy!  The tech said our baby was 15 oz, and is measuring about a week ahead.  No surprise there.  Looks like I may be in for another big baby!  

I am convinced that we are having a boy.  I was convinced with the other two and was right, so we shall see. The thing is, you have a 1 in 2 chance of being right so it's not that hard to guess correctly!!  Whenever I see ultrasounds of the baby, all I see is a little boy on that screen, so sorry baby if you are a girl!! 

I started feeling the baby kick at 15 weeks I think.  I love those first kicks.  Scott felt the baby kick a couple weeks ago.  Every time I have Makenna try to feel, the baby stops kicking!  (We've tried about 10 different times!)  She thinks it's nice that the baby doesn't want to kick her!

Jace is constantly kissing my tummy which I love.  He usually gives me a little smooch too... that boy is just so darn kissable!

I started my braxton hicks at about 16 weeks this pregnancy.  They are pretty dang annoying, but I'm pretty sure they are what get me dilated early, so I'll take em!

cravings: sour patch watermelon chews, ice, oranges

weight gain: 7 lbs.

Quilt

I finished Jace's quilt!  Phewww I think I bit off more than I could chew with making those quilts.  I'm glad they have a special quilt now that they can always have though, so it was worth it!

nonstop fun

I don't have pictures of Wednesday, but we went to the park for lunch and then to a movie at my dad's theatre.  We saw Rio!  Pretty cute, but not amazing!  Then later Scott and I went to the temple which was so great... I love going back to that temple because it's where we got married!

Thursday I met up with my high school best friends and their husbands for breakfast at Broken Yolk!  It was SOOO much fun to catch up with them, and I have permission now to tell you that not only are Jenna and I preggo, but Megan is too!  I am SO SO SO excited that we are all pregnant together!

Later we went to the beach to fly kites with cousin Clarky!  The kids had a ball, although Clark's kite was the only one to stay up in the ocean breeze!

After the beach we went to pick strawberries!  YUMMM seriously the best strawberries you will ever have!!

Don't ask me what the lei is all about, I'm not quite sure actually!

After strawberries, Jaclyn, my mom, and I went to the outlets for a little shopping.  We went to my favorite store Banana Republic and I got some things.  Yay!!

Friday- BEACH!  I'll let the pictures speak...

Disneyland!!

Scott had a meeting for work at Downtown Disney for the first hour, so we just got a pic of Kenna in front of the Mickey!

The first roller coaster we went on Jace put his hands right up!  Phew!  We were worried he wouldn't want to ride any of the scarier rides!

I got my family mickey picture at the end of the day!  We were SPENT!  I don't know how people do this more than a day... I am a disneyland wuss I guess.

Monday we went to the beach, and then later we got a babysitter and went to the Padre's game!  It was great, and Padres won!

fun little factoid: I sang "take me out to the ballgame" with a few other kids down on the Padre's field when I was about 14 years old!  Brings back MEMS!!
