Trunk or Treat

Tonight was our trunk or treat. Good times... As far as I'm concerned, after all this halloween shizzle that's been going on, halloween is over!! Makenna will be lucky if we take her trick-or-treating down our street!

Halloween Festivities

You may notice that Makenna is wearing a different outfit every time. We figured we wouldn't make her wear her Cinderella dress every time, so we would ask her what she wanted to be that day, and went with it! All she had to do is pick from her many dress-ups. :) Oh, and she was obsessed with the fact that mommy let her wear makeup! Heaven!

Our little bat at Stef's Halloween Party

Scott let him slide all the way down the slide on his belly- he loved it!

Cheerleader

At the zoo boo. I found this picture fitting because Makenna loves her nesquick chocolate milk! Doesn't it kind of freak you out to think who is in those costumes?!

One of her many princess costumes she chose this day

Cute friend Stacy invited Makenna to a cute little halloween party at her art class

We combined joy school classes for a Joy school Halloween party (There are boys too, not pictured)

Jace Face

Jace still only has one tooth after almost 2 months! So I'm seriously in love with this boy. I don't think there has ever been a sweeter, happier, and might I add, cuter little guy! He is the perfect baby.

PUMPKIN PATCH

For Joy School we took a little field trip to a cute pumpkin patch. (It's on Paseo and Eagle Ranch) It was so much fun! The kids got to ride a horse, go through a hay maze, play lots of fun games they had set up, play in a big bucket of corn, and of course pick out a pumpkin. It was such a nice fall thing to do even though it ended up feeling more like summer that day...

He stuffed his mouth right as I was taking the picture-SICK!

He's 28 people!!

This is what Scott wanted to do for his birthday- help his parents caulk and paint their house! Why does he have to be soooo nice?! When it's my birthday I have a list of things I want to do and get, but this man just wants to help other people. Kind of makes me sick and feel like crap for being so selfish!

This picture is as per request :)

I'm so lucky...

Weekend trip

We spent the weekend at Scott's parent's house. The weekend was filled with cousins, painting, baking, eating, jumping, laughing, bubble-bathing, playing, and celebrating (Scott's birthday-more to come).

Jace's hair sure is getting long

Balloon Fiestaaaaa

Every year Albuquerque holds the biggest hot air balloon event in the world! It's simply amazing and there are no words...

This is a small portion of the hundreds of balloons flying

I'm in love- we watched this one land

This was my favorite

Right over our house-can you believe those colors?!

View from our backyard

Another shot from our backyard-they begin at the break of dawn when the air is coolest

This is walking up to the "glowdeo." All of the balloons are anchored and the fire makes them glow-AMAzing.

Day off

Well for Scott's year anniversary working for ICI, he got the day off today! What he really wanted to do was paint the garage floor with an epoxy. (Men)

Our sexy garage

Well then while that dried we headed off to the aquarium and botanical gardens.

Jace loved looking at all the fish!

Makenna thought it was so funny that we told her to say "chineeese" instead of "cheese"

cooling off in the fountain- it's still hot here during the day- like 80 degrees!

side note- if anyone wants to make a sweet trip out here to the land of enchantment, the balloon fiesta starts this weekend!! LOVE it!
