Camryn turned 1!

My sweet baby girl turned 1 on September 16th.  I cannot believe it!  Here she is at one year...
she loves sitting on the fireplace and thinks she's so cool

she loves to push her hippo around... close to walking!

I realized after these pics that my lens was smudged!  Still cute though!

This is how she gets around these days

She loves that binky and her lovie

"don't even think you are getting a picture of me!"

birthday girl got her own sucker!

not in the mood for pictures- trying to eat her sucker in peace!

in her new car toy

Kenna says "take a picture of me and Cami," so I did, not realizing this is what she was going to do!  FREAKED me out!  haha  Good thing she seems to be enjoying herself!

sistaaaas

We went over to Lucy's for a double birthday dessert.  They were born just a couple hours apart right down the hall from each other.

smash cake made by the amazing Darbie

WHAT is that?!

ooooh I like this!

I really like this!

Camryn at 1:
Still the happiest baby on earth
She has found her voice and will scream at the top of her lungs if she needs anything, wants anything, is being teased, wants attention, or for no particular reason at all!
I can't remember her stats exactly but she was 50th percentile for height and weight!  We have an average baby for once!
Loves her daddy so much and will get super excited when she hears him come home.  Throughout the day she will say "daDA?" or "where Dada?"  She also will bring me the phone to call him.
Signs all done, more, and food.  She loves watching Signing Time.
She loves dogs and gets really excited and crazy when she sees them
She loves to wave to strangers
She also has more anxiety lately for strangers and has had a hard time a couple times when I have left her.
She's all over the place lately
She still has not figured out the fun of a toilet!  Wooohooo!  I hope she never does!  knock on wood
She does however LOVE the toothbrush drawer in the kids bathroom and will often go in there to get their toothbrushes and suck on them.
She still is not snuggly at all, but will put her head on you for a couple seconds to let you know she loves you

I love that baby so stinkin much.  She is so adorable and sweet.  I am sad she's getting older.  :(

Makenna's 7th birthday

Makenna turned 7 on Sept. 12th.  After she got ready for school we let her open her presents since Scott wouldn't be there at night.  She was so excited when she opened her eyes and saw this...

She also got a LeapPad2 from grandma Sheffield/us.  She has the best reactions...

After school she had a playdate with her good friend, Mallory.  Then we went out to dinner at Dions with Aunt Stacy.  Then headed on over to Menchies where she got to pick whatever she wanted.  This is what she ended up with...

We have a tradition on their birthdays that I take them to the store and they can pick anything they want within a certain amount.  Makenna chose a Barbie.

Makenna is such a special little spirit.  This is Makenna lately:

Way into art and drawing.  Her teacher always talks about what an amazing artist she is.  She definitely has some talent there.
She is really smart.  She amazes me sometimes by the things she knows and how fast she catches on to things.
Such a good, sweet friend.
She loves eating healthy and her favorite food is salad.
She loves barbies and barbie movies.
She is very spiritual and often throws out very deep questions.  She knows her scripture stories very well.
She is very good at memorizing things.
She loves doing mom school with me after she's done with her homework after school.
She is loved very much by her friends and cousins.
She is very helpful around the house.
She is a very good big sister to Jace and Cami

She had a hard little experience recently at school that broke my heart.  This little girl in her class started treating her really mean.  Makenna would come home very upset sometimes.  The girl would push her and call her names, and exclude her from her friends.  It was heartbreaking.  Every day Makenna would tell me the nice things she would do to this girl, and the nice things she would say, and I would tell her to just keep doing what she's doing.  Well just recently Makenna came home from school and told me that the girl apologized to her for being mean and now they are friends.  This is just one good example of what a kind-hearted girl Makenna is.  She would never do a mean thing to anyone, even someone treating her so unkind. We love our Kenna girl.

Soccer starts

Jace and Makenna started soccer in September.  Their games were all at the same times so I don't have pictures of Kenna, but here are some of Jace!
Jace's first game he was trying to feel it out.  His second game he scored 9 goals and you could tell it just clicked!  Ever since then he has been such a good little soccer player!  He's a natural like his dad.

lost tooth- number 5!

this is her loose tooth- backwards!!

A couple hours later

Jed

We love when Jed comes to visit when he's in town for work!  This time around the boys thought it would be a great idea to jump through a spinning hula hoop.  It was hilarious to say the least.  Scott and Jed are so funny together.  We miss our Becks!!

First day of preschool

Jace started preschool on September 4th.  We are doing a mom-school again with 6 other kids: Carley, Allison, William, Bryce, Ella, and Hunter.  This year we are coming up with our own curriculum.  So far I have taught a USA lesson, and the next one is Dinosaurs!  So fun to be able to teach whatever you want!  Jace absolutely loves it and I have to say that I do too!  I was a little worried at first because Jace hit a kid the first two classes out of NOWHERE!  It was so crazy and I was so mad about it. But he has done amazing since and the teachers usually tell me that he is really good.  PHEW!  little stinker!  This little guy is very much affected by peer pressure and trying to look cool in front of other kids... not sure if that's what was going on or not.  It makes me worried for the future though!

Love this cute kid!

Makenna's cousin party

While we were up in Farmington, Sherri suggested we do a combined birthday party for Karmiyah and Makenna.  I was all about that since we weren't doing a party this year and I knew she would just love it!  It was super easy and low-key, but the cousins loved it!  Here they are doing limbo...
Jace cracks me up with his hands in his pockets

Landscaping for the Worths

At the beginning of September, Angie invited us up to Famington to help landscape the Worths backyard since they have been dealing with all the stuff with Joy.  It's a big backyard that needs a huge sprinkler system that we helped put in.  Scott, Jeff, Angie, and Bob were amazzzzing working all day to install it.  I helped when I didn't need to watch baby Cams.  :)
My amazing sister-in-law Angie.  She is seriously the bomb.

The kids helped move rock.  They did so awesome; I was so proud of their hard work they did for the Worths.
