Neighbors
We love our neighbors! This is Makenna with her little buddy Benjamin. He is the cutest little guy! They love playing together outside.
Visitors
We were so excited to have the Johansons (Scott's sister) come visit! I have been wanting to get these girls together for a long time but we haven't been able to see them for 2 years since they live in Georgia. The girls had so much fun together just as I predicted! It was so cute to see them play. We wish you guys lived closer!

4th of July
We spent the 4th at my Grandma Pike's house (my dad's mom). It was so good to see her and Grandpa Bob. They are two very special people and I always enjoy being in their company. A lot of my cousins were there too so it was fun to catch up. My grandparents live in a house that overlooks the Rose Bowl stadium so we had a sweet view of the fireworks that go off from there. It's something we always did when I was a kid so it was fun to do it again now that I'm older and share it with my family.
Balboa Park
We hit up Balboa Park one day to go to a couple museums and just walk around. The pictures are from the Natural History Museum. It was beautiful weather (of course it's San Diego...)
The BEACH
Of course we went to the beach whenever we could. It was so fun! My highlight was probably when Scott and I got to go out in the ocean by ourselves and ride the waves together. Makenna of course LOVED the beach as you can see by the pictures! I miss it already!
Grandma Holland's House
We loved being at grandma Holland's house. She has such a beautiful yard and it's so fun for kids because it's on a slope, so Makenna loved rolling down the hills! I'm so bummed I forgot to take a picture with grandma and grandpa...
Children's Museum
We met up with my cousin Jen and her kids Cambria and Kate at the Children's museum in Salt Lake. It was so fun to see them and Makenna and Cambria had a blast together! Makenna loved all the fun pretend things you could do there like grocery shopping and playing in the kid-sized house. It was a lot of fun!
