Last week of school!

The last week of school was packed full of fun stuff!  First we went to the aquarium and botanical gardens (AGAIN!!  good thing we have a pass!)

  Then Jace had his graduation for joy school!  Sweetest kids ever...

Then the end of the year performance.  Makenna was such a little performer!  So funny...

 

Then they had water day.  Jace went and acted like he was just part of the class like he usually does!

Then we went to Hoots!  What a crazy week!

We got so lucky this year to have the best teachers!!  Mrs. Mills and Mrs. Heather were amazing and helped Makenna so much.  I was so grateful to have such a good experience at her school because I had been so nervous about it!!  Makenna is doing so good and reading far above the level she is supposed to be at.  I also had some parents tell me that Makenna is the smartest in her class.  Not sure if it's true, but I'll take it!  I made her teachers the necklaces in the picture and they were a hit!  They are filled with M&M's, gum, and a gift card.  We really are going to miss them so much!

Victory's birthday

We went to celebrate my neice's birthday a couple sundays ago in the NE.  It was the day that the eclipse happened, and holy moly it was so cool!

Sheffields!

 The night we got back, my brother came to visit with his family for the first time!  It was sooo fun to have them here!  My kids love their cousins, Clark and Cayson, so much!  We took them to old town, then to the aquarium and botanical gardens.  It was THE perfect day.  Don't you love when people visit when the weather is perfect?!

Stacy is the cool Aunt that buys treats for the nieces and nephews!

Jeff's wedding

On mother's day weekend we went to Arizona for my cousin Jeff's wedding.  My family minus my bro were there so we had a grand ol' time!  We went swimming at the AMAZEballs swimming pool at the hotel all Saturday morning before heading to Mesa for the wedding.

It was such a quick trip, but so fun to see my family and to be able to get away for a couple days!

Gardens

Scott has been painting a friend's house all week, so I've seen him about 5 minutes total each day since he gets up so early for seminary, goes to work, then paints till midnight!  I don't know how he does it seriously!  He is amazing.  

It has made me realize how much I like (need) having him around.  Lately I have been feeling like everything has been going so smoothly!  My kids get along so well, Cami is an amazing baby and sleeping so good, and I haven't had a mommy flip out moment in a long time!  That has changed in the last few days...  Let's just say I really needed to just get out and enjoy some fresh air.  So I decided last minute to go to the botanical gardens, and my sweet friend joined me in my craziness!  It was perfect- just what I needed.

 What would I do without my Kenna girl?  She's so so helpful.  When she knew I was having a bad day, she stepped in and helped as much as she could.  Love her!!
